Many re­le­vant to­pics to­day are dis­cus­sed in smal­ler groups and lar­ger groups, such as church dis­cus­si­ons. When I have qu­es­ti­ons about what God’s Word te­ac­hes on a cer­tain to­pic, I ask a pa­rent or fa­mi­ly mem­ber. As a yo­ung per­son, I le­arn about what God’s Word says through ser­mons, pre­sen­ta­ti­ons, dis­cus­si­on and vi­si­ting with fa­mi­ly and friends.

Of­ten when I have qu­es­ti­ons or doubts on a cer­tain to­pic, my qu­es­ti­on is ans­we­red in a ser­mon. These mo­ments are very spe­ci­al, as it feels as if God is spe­a­king di­rect­ly to me. Ot­her ti­mes, a brot­her or sis­ter in faith will pro­vi­de an ans­wer in con­ver­sa­ti­on that helps me with my qu­es­ti­on.

It is im­por­tant to re­mem­ber God’s Word when ma­king de­ci­si­ons. Throug­hout our li­ves we make de­ci­si­ons eve­ry day which affect our tem­po­ral, per­so­nal, and spi­ri­tu­al li­ves. When ma­king these choi­ces, it is im­por­tant to use the te­ac­hings of God’s Word to gui­de them. There is much inst­ruc­ti­on and wis­dom in God’s Word. One of the most im­por­tant te­ac­hings in my per­so­nal life has been that there is bles­sing in obe­dien­ce.

In light of the hap­pe­nings in the world around us, we can con­ti­nue to trust in the Holy Spi­rit. The Holy Spi­rit gui­des be­lie­vers even in the dark world around us. We can be­lie­ve with child­li­ke faith that God will con­ti­nue to re­ve­al His Word to us in His time.

When we obey what God’s Word te­ac­hes, God will bless our li­ves and life de­ci­si­ons.
